Itaewon, South Korea…(in my imagination, trying to write English, my English Lesson)
Itaewon is the area surrounding by Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. About 22,000 people reside in the district and it is a popular area for residents of Seoul, tourists and expatriate. It knows as Seoul's International District and it is the home of many foreigners in South Korea.
The name Itaewon originally derived from the name of an inn located there during the Joseon Dynasty. Today it calls Itaewon alluding to its abundance of pear trees.
As Seoul's International District, Itaewon knows for serving cuisine that are not widely available in Korea, such as those from Britain, Germany, France, India, Italy, Southeast Asia, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Mexico, America, and Canada.
Hongdae, Insadong, and Seoul Tower, are one of the most popular places in Seoul for the tourists.
Itaewon became famous because of the K-drama called Itaewon Class. The handsome actor Park Seo Joon successfully played Park Sae-roy, a young man who did not compromise with injustice and corruption. Young people were chasing dreams together between Itaewon's narrow streets. Banpo Bridge, Seoul Fortress Wall and the Finest Lounge Bar, Noksapyeong-Daero Bridge, Oriole roof top Bar and Colline Café, famous places in itaewon which were used as the shooting location for the K-drama Itaewon class.
